There are a lot of teapots out there and lots of accessories that you can buy. You hear that you need this, and that, and these, and those, and the list becomes never ending and pretty soon, you might end up with an empty wallet. And that's no good news for anyone. So how do you know what you need to get?
To some, drinking tea is an art. To others, it's a passion. For some, it's a way to stay healthy and to relax. No matter which way you look at it, there are essentials that you need in order to make a good tea. Fundamentally, you would want to start out with a tea pot, several tea cups, tea leaves, and maybe some sugar or cream.
Teapots: How can you keep from getting confused when there are so many of them out there? Ceramic, Yixing, Cast Iron, porcelain, samovar, etc. They come in different colors and in different shapes. And how do you know how to pick the right one? Which one will fit you best for your personal use?
Agreed, this gets pretty confusing. But there's hope! Teapots can be broken down into categories, which makes it a hundred times easier for you. All that you need to know if a bit about each of them and voila! You have a better idea of which one you want to get.
Warmers:
Let's not forget about how you're going to keep your pot warm. Are you going to want to choose
a tea cozy? A teapot warmer? Or a mug warmer?
Or maybe, you're going to drink your tea in a timely manner and you won't need a warmer. But what if you find yourself in the need of one? Better to have it than not...
Accessories:
Tea is drunk by about half of the planet.
Hence, there's going to be lots of accessories that you can choose from.
In the end, how do you know which one you really need and the ones that you can afford to ignore? Do you want to make sure that you have everything to make a perfect cup of tea? Or do you just want the essentials which are going to allow you to make your tea?
