Tea recipes.
Tea recipes always come in handy especially when you're at home and aren't too certain about how to make a certain tea beverage. Or when you suddenly run out of drinks at your party, tea beverages can be real life savers!
Tea can be used to make more than just a regular tea. It's been used to create new beverages for years. And how delightful would it be to present your children, friends, nieces or nephews with a tea popsicle? Or maybe a chai tea?
William Gladstone wrote this about tea:
"If you are cold, tea will warm you;
If you are too heated, it will cool you;
If you are depressed, it will cheer you;
If you are exhausted, it will calm you."
Now that we have those tea recipes, what about goodies that you can take with your tea? First, you need to know several things about tea and what goodies you may eat with it.
There are three types of afternoon tea; cream tea, light tea, and full tea.
Cream Tea -- Tea, scones, jam, and cream.
Light Tea -- Tea, scones, and sweets.
Full Tea -- Tea, savories, scones, sweets, and dessert.
Savories are tiny sandwiches or appetizers.
Scones are served with jam, and Devonshire or clotted cream.
Pastries are anything from cake, cookies, shortbread, and sweets.
In England, the traditional time for tea was 4:00 P.M. or 5:00 P.M. And now, for the goodies!
