What is oolong tea?

Oolong tea comes from the Camilla Sinensis tea bush. How those tea leaves from the Camilla Sinensis end up as different kinds of teas depends on what happens to the leaves after they have been picked off the tea bush.

This tea is semi-fermented and is known for its intense and flower like qualities. Oolong colors range from bright green and slightly fermented to a dark-leafed and hearty color. The greener the tea, the less fermented the leaves were.

This tea's unique drying process creates a tea that has many metabolic stimulating properties and can be used for weight management in addition to a well balanced diet.

Falsification of the oolong teas is rare as the teas generally have very distinctive aromas. Also, let's not forget that there are some of these teas that are flavored.
