Planning a chocolate party?
You are planning a party. A chocolate party. And with such idea, tips certainly come in handy!
Maybe you've thought of these tips already, but checking if you've thought of everything is always a good idea. You never
know when something might have slipped from your mind and double checking is always a good idea. You wouldn't want a party or an event to go wrong, that's never any fun!
1) Figure out how much dipping food you need. (Wouldn't want to have more chocolate than dipping food!)
2) Make sure that the dipping food is bite size.
3) No double dipping! (Especially when you're at a chocolate party!)
4) Have something to drink nearby. Although chocolate is delicious, it can bring on a thirst and your guest should not be
left wanting for a good cold glass of apple cider, iced tea, or fruit punch.
5) With a chocolate fondue or fountain, plates and napkins are always a must. Some guests might want to rest their bits of
chocolate covered food on plates while others will need to wipe off their chocolate covered fingers.
6) Keep your chocolate fondue at a low temperature when on display. You don't want the chocolate to be too hot. No one
likes burnt taste buds!
7) Remember the fondue etiquette.
Everyone is dipping in the same pot. Ensure that the fork or skewer that you are using does not touch your lips or tongue.
When dipping into the pot, ensure that the fork or skewer goes all the way through your dipping food. You wouldn't want to
loose that strawberry or cream puff in there!
No fighting with the forks or skewers (men!) These are not jousting sticks. And no, the point of a fondue is not to knock the food off your friend's fork or skewer.
Now, where's this party at?
Are you thinking of having a fountain at this chocolate party?
Or is your mind settled on a chocolate fondue?
Thank you for visiting Tea or Chocolate.
