Chocolate covered strawberries, the life of the party!

Chocolate covered strawberries are delicious to eat and fun to prepare. (If you're like me, you end up eating a couple while you're making them! Just can't resist such a delicacy!)

You can make them for a family night, a party, or a tete-a-tete. Everyone will be delighted by them. And you can even have your kids, if you have any, help you with the dipping.

Choc. Source - 120 x 60

Chocolate covered strawberries.

Ingredient:

Preparation:
1. Melt the chocolate. You can do this with a microwave if you want to. Stir the chocolate as it is being heated until it is smooth.

2. Remove the chocolate from the heat source.
3. Line a sheet pan with parchment or waxed paper.
4. Hold the strawberry by the stem, dip the fruit into the chocolate, lift and twist slightly, letting any excess chocolate fall back into the bowl.
5. Set the strawberries on the parchment paper. Repeat with the rest of the strawberries.
6. Set the strawberries aside until the chocolate sets, which will take around 30 minutes. You can chill them by putting them in the refrigerator.

Want to add an extra twist to these chocolate covered strawberries? Try dipping a fork into some melted white chocolate and letting the white chocolate drizzle over the already chocolate covered strawberries. You can drizzle dark chocolate on strawberries that have been dipped in white chocolate as well.

Also, you can double dip the already chocolate covered strawberries. Dip most of the strawberry in the first chocolate, for this example, we'll say dark chocolate. Let the chocolate set. Then, melt either white chocolate or milk chocolate. Dip the strawberries in either chocolate that you choose, but dip them only halfway, this way, the two coatings of chocolate will show. Of course, you can alternate between milk, dark and white chocolate. Try different creations! Be creative!

Once you've gotten the hang of making chocolate covered strawberries, you can do endless variations with dark, milk, and white chocolate. Have fun with it! No matter what the designs are that you come up with, it's still chocolate and strawberries and it tastes delicious!

But that's not all! You can also dip cherries, pretzels, bananas, starfruits, pineapple, melon, etc. in chocolate. The fun is endless! Once you have dipped a piece of fruit in chocolate, you can put it in the fridge to allow the chocolate to cool. And if you want, you can even put the chocolate covered fruit pieces in the freezer too! Just don't leave them in there for too long, or you'll have a hard time eating them.

If you're a bit daring, you could have chocolate covered strawberries available to your guests as well as chocolate martinis.

Is that too much chocolate for your guests? What about tea martinis?
